Traditional and contemporary oak frames

Carpenter Oak & Woodland craft traditional and contemporary oak framed houses, extensions, conservatories, swimming pool enclosures as well as the restoration and conservation of historic frames and timber engineering for both public and commercial spaces. Carpenter Oak & Woodland are also multi-award winning and have appeared on TV show’s such as Grand Designs and Homes under the Hammer.

Why choose Carpenter Oak & Woodland?

We believe that no other oak framing company matches our experience, expertise or range of services. We’ve probably made more truly bespoke oak frames than anyone else in the UK.

1
Always bespoke We don’t ever start from a ‘standard house design’, we start with your ideas. So what we build is always, always bespoke.
3
Real craftsmanship Our carpenters understand how to cut and shape oak in a way that no computerised machine ever could – working in tune with the timber’s natural shapes.
2
Award-winning skills We believe that we’ve won more industry awards than all other UK timber framing companies combined; from national to local community awards.
4
Value for money Our care and craftsmanship costs less than you might think – our oak frames remain competitive, despite their exceptional quality.

Carpenter Oak & Woodland is one of the most experienced, long-established oak-framers in the UK. We specialise in building new oak framed homes (including extensions, swimming pools and garden rooms), commercial and public buildings (including schools, colleges, visitor centres, gridshells and bridges) – and in converting oak framed buildings of the past. From two locations in Wiltshire, England, and Angus, Scotland, we work right across the UK.
